The Icehouse Amphitheater was created as part of Lexington’s Vision Plan, focusing on the future roadmap of Lexington. It is a 900-seat venue that hosts various community events right in the heart of downtown Lexington. Here’s what’s coming up in the months ahead:
October 13th – Steelin’ Peaches- 6 PM
Performing the music of the Allman Brothers Band, tickets are required and can be purchased here.
October 20th – Resurrection – 6 PM
A Journey Tribute with some of Nashville’s hottest musicians. Tickets are required and can be purchased on eventbrite.
October 27th – Tokyo Joe’s 3rd Annual Breast Cancer Research Fundraiser – 6 PM
Sponsored by Woodcreek Club, proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Tickets are $35 at www.icehouseamphitheater.com.
November 30th -Christmas Craft Fair – 4 PM
Featuring fresh produce and unique gifts from local vendors. Market from 4-8 pm on Thursday, November 30th and Friday, December 1st. FREE to attend.
December 1st – Carolighting Ceremony – 6:30 PM
Join the town of Lexington to sing Christmas carols, light the tree & take pictures with Santa. Tree lighting starts at 6:30 and pictures with Santa from 4-8 PM.
December 1st – Movie Night: The Grinch 7:30 PM
FREE event. Join in with the Grinch and his pet dog Max as they try to stop the Whoville’s celebration.
December 2nd – Carnival & Movie – 1 PM
Snowball Festival from 1-5 PM featuring carnival rides, face painting, balloon artists & more! Pictures with Santa from 1-5 PM. The event is FREE but food is available for purchase. Stay for the movie showing of The Santa Clause starting at 5:30 PM.
December 3rd – Christmas Parade – 3 PM
Lexington’s Christmas tradition continues with the annual parade down Main Street.
